Buying and selling–conducting transactions–takes up a lot of space in our lives, and that’s not all bad. Commerce is one of the primary ways in which humans have related since the beginning of time, and it is hard-wired into the fabric of creation. But God calls us to be stewards of his Creation, not commercial beings defined by transactions. The Bible teaches us how to conduct transactions as those transformed by Christ’s love.
